About Us

Tokyooo is the authentic Japanese restaurant which brought the first conveyor (kaiten) system to Armenia. Our restaurant is managed by a Japanese owner and Japanese chef partnered with a local Armenian. Of course, you can try very authentic sushi here but also beautifully decorated Japanese dishes as well as minimalistic Izakaya-style dishes including a variety of Ramen noodles which have recently become a phenomenon in the world.
Hiroki Tachiiri is the co-founder of Tokyooo, a certified Edomae Sushi Chef and a certified Japanese Cuisine Sommelier.
With deep knowledge of Japanese culinary traditions, he plays a key role in shaping Tokyooo’s authentic concept, menu and dining experience.
He has also been officially appointed as a Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, recognizing his role in sharing Japanese food culture beyond Japan.
Through his work, Hiroki brings the philosophy, precision and respect behind Japanese cuisine to every detail.
Together with the Tokyooo team, he continues to introduce guests to the true taste, spirit and hospitality of Japan.
